Friday night details?

​

• All guests are welcome to join us at Gahan House (located inside The Canvas by Hilton hotel) at 7pm.

• Food will be provided and paid for, and drinks can be purchased from the onsite bar.

Is everything for the wedding in one place?

​

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and dance will all be on site at The Cidery.

Will there be parking available at the venue?

​

• There is parking on site at the venue. Please see below for the parking map. All guests bringing vehicles are asked to park in the area marked for "parking shuttle".

Will there be a shuttle service? 

​

• Yes, there will be a shuttle bus picking guests up at each hotel we had blocks at (The Delta Beausejour and The Canvas by Hilton)​

  • Pick Up: Bus arrives at each hotel for 3:15pm. Bus will depart at 3:30pm to arrive at the Cidery for ~4pm.​

  • Drop Off: One bus will be running from 9pm-1am making round trips from the venue to each of the hotels.

What is the timeline of the wedding day going to be like?

​

​

4:00 PM --- Guests can start arriving / Shuttles arriving on site

​

4:30 PM --- Ceremony Start Time

​

5:00 PM --- Cocktail hour begins (lawn games - weather permitting, drinks, grazing table food available)

​

6:00 PM --- End of cocktail hour

​

6:45 PM --- Catering service (served buffet style) begins

​

8:30 PM --- Dance party begins!

​

12:00 AM --- Midnight snack

​

1:00 AM --- End of night / Shuttle service ends

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?​

​​

• The ceremony, reception, and dance will be indoors. 

• The venue has a beautiful patio and will have lawn games set up for cocktail hour weather permitting.

What's the bar situation?​​​

​

• The cocktail hour portion of the night (5-6pm) is open bar. After cocktail hour, drinks can be purchased on site. 

• Each guest will have a few drinks tickets that can be used to purchase any drink - alcoholic or otherwise - from the bar.

• Debit/Credit is accepted. 

​

Please do not bring any outside alcohol with you. Our venue's liquor control license does not allow this.

What's the dress code?

​

• Wear what you feel comfortable in! There is no specific set dress code.

• We are not having a traditional bridal party, so there is no concern about looking like a bridesmaid!

• If you are really looking for some guidance, we might suggest something semi-formal/dressy casual.

  • For girls - pastel coloured or floral patterns dresses could be fun. 

  • For guys - dress pant/khakis with button down shirt (jacket and tie optional).

 

All this being said, we want our guests to be happy, comfortable, and ready to have fun...no matter what you're wearing!
